ANNE-LOUISE DEPALO: I started my private practice in Staten Island in 1988. And I've been doing the family law and the matrimonial cases, divorce cases since then. I focus on divorce cases, custody, child support, custody, paternity cases. I also do adoptions, anything having to do with family related matters.
I've very passionate about what I do for my clients. I work very effectively. I have a lot of energy. I do what I need to do to get the job done. I think it's very important when you represent someone in a divorce that you not only get them through the divorce and the litigation and making sure they get what they're entitled to. But then the next step is what happens to their life after that. I make sure that they have a life plan. If need be, we go over a budget. We figure out what's going to be done with retirement monies, rolling over IRAs, refinancing homes, selling houses, whatever needs to be done to put them on the right path.
